Still hunting

leave a comment »

The hunt goes on for me, I’ve finished my seventh Canopic Jar with no luck.  Oh well.  I press forward nonetheless.

Guide to the Vial

My guild requested that I put together a guide on obtaining the Vial of the Sands (since I am something of an expert at it at this point).  It can be downloaded here.

The Hunt Goes On

Still no recipe for the vial yet.  It’s started to take a real toll on me.  I hate whoever designed the way this recipe is obtained.

Tol Barad Balance

leave a comment »

It would be nice if the Alliance was able to win Tol Barad so I can explore it and get my achievements.  However, from what I’ve heard (and seen), it’s so easy to defend, that it doesn’t seem likely that we’ll win until the issues are fixed.  Soon hopefully…

The Hunt for the Vial

Getting the recipe for the Vial of the Sands is taking far longer than I had hoped it would.  It only drops from Canopic Jars, which only come from Tol’vir dig sites, which can only spawn in Uldum.  And since those dig sites share spawn points with the rest of the continent, it’s slow going even getting the sites to appear.  Oh well, I press on for now.

Leveling First Aid

Leveling first aid is a lot harder than I thought it was going to be.  As soon as you hit a skill of 500, your last bandage turns green, and you have to keep making it until you’re maxed.  Frustrating!

The Cataclysm so Far

leave a comment »

Although I’ve only leveled up to 83 so far, the quest and zone design are far more impressive than anything I’ve seen previously in-game.  Blizzard really has taken things up a notch this time, and it is apparent everywhere you go, from the slopes of Mount Hyjal, to the depths of Deepholm.  I’d right more, but the best way to experience it is firsthand.  Get out there and have some fun in the new world!
